Great fast service! Great food!

My husband and I are visiting from Austin, and we have eaten here two out of the three days that we’ve been here so far. The fish and shrimp were hot and crispy. The fish was lightly battered and was really fresh! The prices were very reasonable, the establishment was very clean, and the waitresses are friendly. Will definitely come back on our next visit to the area.

I always enjoy the food here. The service is prompt and usually everything is as ordered. Because the wait staff is normally quite young and not extremely experienced occasionally you might have to wave to get their attention. But overall everything is great. The value is good and I have seldom been disappointed.

This is the original Baytown Seafood, and the food is always delicious here. Excellent fried shrimp & fish, and many delicious grilled options too. I've been to some of the other Baytown Seafood at other locations, but this original location is by far the best. You won't be disappointed here.

I enjoyed the fried shrimp, they were a nice size with good flavor. The gumbo wasn't so great my boyfriend ate it for me. Willing to try other things here. Great customer service

Food was really good and arrived fast. The service was helpful and friendly.The only (small) downside as highlighted by other people already is that the tables could be cleaned more often.

Favorite place to eat! Prices are very reasonable and the catfish is so good! Actually everything is very good there.

All the food was seasoned with the same season salt. Grill was to hot, food cooked to fast, was left rubbery and tough. Service was slow and forgetful. Will not return.

I love this restaurant very much. theres a different feeling. The cuisine is good. the service is effective and the crew is polite. The price is modest. deeply recommend.

Place was clean, our waitress was pleasant. I thought the food, (shrimp n founder) was excellent but gf thought it was a bit spicy. They had several pickups but not many sit down customers. Maybe all the thump, thump, thump in the parking lot is not what diners want to hear while they're eating.

The batter on the shrimp and fish were awful!! Not restaurant style at all! Service was great!

Placed me on hold set the phone down, I waited for 10 mins. Chose to call back and the phone stayed off the hook for another 20 mins

Service was beyond horrendous. My co-workers and I waited for 50 minutes after being seated with only drinks and salads. The food we ordered was not brought to the table nor were drinks refilled. We asked the server at this point (nearly an hour), she apologized and stated she was only waiting on hushpuppies. We asked that the food be brought out without the hushpuppies. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, we asked for the food to be packaged to-go instead of dine-in. Another 15 minutes elapsed and still no food. We went to the register in hopes of speedier service but to no avail food was given to us 20 minutes later. An hour and a half!! The only reason we waited so long was is because we consumed the drinks and salads and didn't want to walk out without paying. Needless to say, we will not visit this establishment in the future.

Excellent! The food was great!! The waitress was good and she was sweet. The place was clean. Only 2 drawbacks. We ordered crawfish and it was awesome however... 1) the corn and potatoes weren't included 2) $5.99 per pound with minimum of 2 pounds 3) asked for non spicy and the corn we ordered came with a hot dry rub on it. I took my grandbabies and it was a little spicy for them. I specifically asked about the flavoring. Other than that it was GREAT 💖

We love Baytown Seafood. The food is always good and you can't beat the prices!!!

Go for the quality of food and for the value. We were in town for a family trip (our son was playing select baseball in town). The ambiance, as with most Baytown Seafood locations, was pretty plain - and the quality of food and the pricing was outstanding. We had a wide variety of entrees- grilled shrimp and fish, fried shrimp, a shrimp po-boy, grilled red snapper, and fried fish. All were excellent. The bill came to not much more than it would have at Whataburger these days. This is not a location with "first date" ambiance, but it is a great family destination. Delicious food at family friendly prices.

Best seafood in town. They have an amazing fry batter for shrimp that I love! Always excellent meal.

Food was good, prices a little high, but id suggest if eating here, take it to go!!! Or call ahead. Dining area always stinks, waitress staff only comes to table once, if u run outta drink ur screwed, and the prices online are not the same in store. But food is good

Good local seafood chain. Fish market also.Poorly set up for takeout. Two cash registers setup but the person manning the second also takes phone calls and doesn't seem to do anything when not on the phone. I'll go out another location.

Really good food cooked really well. Had a good server. Food came out pretty quick. They have lots of choices and fair prices.highly recommend this place.

Excellent seafood! Hot and fresh. Good size portions for the price. Don't let the older exterior and interior fool you - the food is delicious. You can also purchase fresh seafood from the market adjacent to the dining area! Thank you.

We waited several minutes to be seated. Not busy inside the restaurant, no line in front of us. We then had to get our own menus. Ten more minutes went by before we got our drink order taken. NEARLY TEN MORE MINUTES went by before we got our drinks! 2 adults 1 child. Then, we waited for our server to come by, after nearly another 10 minutes (seriously!) we were able to order our food, and my husband asked for steak sauce..that never came. We had to get our own silverware. Our food came out and we immediately asked for Togo boxes and our check so that my husband wouldn't be late going back to work from lunch. Have NEVER had such horrid, slow service or mediocre food at any other Baytown Seafood. I will NEVER be back to this restaurant. Their were plenty of servers for the small amount of people in the restaurant, also.

‼️‼️HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ‼️‼️ I’ve been coming here for years and I will not be coming again, I had an order of two cheeseburgers and the fries were BURNT. I threw one of the fries away and the other ones weren’t touched. I decided to called them and they said would redo it and to take the burnt fries. I brought the fries and they didn’t want to give me the food even after they told me yes. She still wanted me to pay $17 for food that I DID NOT EAT. I told her to give me a refund since she didn’t want to give me the food and she did not want to give me refund even after I brought her the food.

Please stick to the seafood there because I don't know what is happening but the burger is completely different and they gave us a chicken fried steak that was more like a hockey puck. If I were to rate the seafood there and the fish dishes I would say that it was a four and a half

Off the beaten path if your not from Baytown.This place is has great prices for the quality of food they are dishing out. The fried are worth the drive if you are coming in from Houston. The batter is not some bland stuff. Been here twice and was satisfied both times.

We started with a half dozen raw oysters, fresh, flavorful, right on the money.A dozen fried shrimp and french fries as an entre, super crispy and seasoned perfectly. An excellent meal, reasonably priced 👍

Food is always fresh and taste like heaven the fried fish almost melt in your mouth.

Grilled Fish was raw. Fries were cold. Meal was to go and they didn't provide napkins or plastic ware. No ice in the drink. Manager lazy and rude served with attitude. Not very good anymore.

The food was amazing definitely 5 star! The staff tonight not so much. Long wait and didn't get what I ordered.

Really love to seafood here especially when the Crawfish is in season. Prices are pretty good too!

If you want to taste food to taste terrible this was the worst seafood I have ever had eight to shrimp and I feel like terrible I gave one to my dogI had to hurry up and let him go outside before he threw up on the floorand I'm not lying I'm telling the truth I got the 30 shrimp they sucked I'm at my house making me something more edibleafter spending all that money on your shrimp it sucked I cannot emphasize enough how bad it tastes I will never eat there again

The best fried shrimp in Texas.

The place doesn't look like much , and we only tried the crawfish.That crawfish was great, nice and clean. No grit.

The seafood platter I got on the restaurant side was fantastic! So fresh and perfectly cooked. Also purchased some shrimp from the market side and it was fresh and delicious as well!

My first time at Baytown Seafood on Main in Baytown was horrible.My fish and shrimps was fried too hard, no season At All.I won’t be returning to this YUCK!

She said the burgers are better than everywhere, except Papa's grill! Very reasonably priced crawfish, and the shrimp and snapper were great, too! They have daily specials, a couple of bucks cheaper than regular menu prices and even a couple of desserts to choose from. No liquor license, but you can bring your own..

Food is reasonably ok but my main concerns were that1. They di not offer some sort of gravy or beans with the food especially the grilled snapper.2. After complaining, they still put the cutlery and dressing packets inside the plate with the hit food. This is unsanitary and they continue after several complaints. I don't go there anymore.
